For a 7 x 3 inch cake
Couverture chocolate: 100 grams
Unsalted butter: 80 grams
Powdered sugar: 30 grams
Egg: 2 (beaten)
How to cook
Before you start.
1: Preheat oven to 356F (180C).
2: Line a parchment paper in the loaf pan.
3: Get a saucepan ready for melting chocolate. Place a kitchen towel between a saucepan and a bowl, it will help not to burn chocolate.
1: Chop chocolate and butter, and put them into a heatproof bowl.
2: Mix them over a saucepan of simmering water. Water temperature should be 140F (60C). When it’s all melted together, add powdered sugar.
3: Add beaten eggs into the bowl in four to five separate additions. Keep the bowl over the saucepan, mix until sugar is dissolved, and batter gets sticky-thick.
4: Pour the batter into the loaf pan, and bake for 20 minutes in oven.
5: Cool it down in the pan.
